POP UPS..again? Really?
Today's SMH (SHAKE MY HEAD) was visiting TWO different websites and getting the SAME pop up within a few seconds, before I've even wrapped my brain around what I'm looking at. Their VIRTUAL assistant was the SAME EXACT picture. REALLY? She must get around! I don't think that it's necessary to have anything IN YOUR FACE like that. It's demeaning to the user and not to mention annoying. IF I want to give you my email...I shall. I'm sure there are plenty of big companies who don't care about all the people that just close the browser window because of this annoyance. They're probably thinking: 'NEXT'. Someone will fall for it. Not me and I'll never ask you to do that on my website. Really.
